BWSC has performed a variety of training courses covering all aspects of diesel power plants within the following categories: - General introduction to diesel power plants
- Operation of diesel power plants
- Maintenance of diesel engines
- Maintenance of mechanical auxiliary equipment
- Maintenance of electrical equipment
- Instrumentation and control systems
- Management
- Hands-on training at diesel power plants managed and operated by BWSC.
The training courses are based on a modular system, which enables us to perform tailor made courses with duration and content to suit the requirements of each individual plant.
In addition to the above training courses, BWSC has developed and implemented a long-term training system aimed at new as well as existing power plants manned with a combination of experienced and new staff. The system, which is a combination of theoretical and practical training, can be tailored to run from a few months up to several years and is structured to meet the different levels of knowledge and experience of the different staff groups and professions. The progress for each participant will be documented throughout the training program in a training logbook.
