In January 2006 Public Power Corporation S.A. of Greece (PPC) decided to extend the contract with BWSC for Operation and Maintenance Services at Atherinolakkos Diesel Power Station on Crete for one year up to February 1, 2007. The extension of the Service Contract comprises a BWSC Maintenance Supervision Team including a BWSC Operation Advisor, all permanently stationed on Crete.
The Power Station is equipped with two Mitsui MAN B&W engines type 12K90MC-S of total output 102 MW.
